This is an Original gouache painting on a 8"x10" Arches Coldpress watercolor paper.
I actually planned on painting these flowers in the evening since the winter daylight is so short, so I had topped off their water and set them aside. When I came back into the kitchen, they looked SO beautiful that I scrambled to get my art supplies around to paint it. The light barely lasted 20 minutes, but it was long enough for me to capture the essence, and it's one I'm really proud of.
