I don't know if the photo does this one justice!
This is a 12"x9" gouache painting on coldpress watercolor paper.
I always wanted to paint this little bird bath (which has become the crows' favorite spot to eat their meals), and the little ceramic fishy that swims in its waters. It was the perfect day to do so, since it was framed by a bounty of lavender and poppies.
