This is a 12"x16" original gouache painting on Arches Coldpress Watercolor Paper.
This piece was painted at the 2019 Capitola Plein Air Festival. The festival was coming to an end, and I really wanted to paint something just purely for fun. I was mesmerized by the swirls of foam from the incoming tide, and all of the fascinating colors.
