This is an original gouache painting on an 8"x10" coldpress watercolor paper.
Just another morning in the Martin household. The cats usually bask in the morning sunlight, but to make sure they stayed I put a little washcloth on the table. It worked like a charm and Carrot was drawn to it right away and sat still for a shockingly long time.
Legend has it that the washcloth remains, and the cats still sit on it every day.
