This is a 12"x16" original gouache painting on coldpress watercolor paper.
This was painted the day after Thanksgiving, and it was a nice quiet day on the trails at the Lime Ridge Open Space. The clouds were stunning since the rain was coming in, and the light was so fantastic. I shared the view with a red tailed hawk that stayed surprisingly still for quite some time.
