Palms at the Conservatory of Flowers- Original Gouache Painting

This is a 12"x16" gouache painting on a coldpress watercolor paper

This was painted at the SF Conservatory of Flowers as we attempted to find a cool place to paint in the middle of a heatwave. I tried to really maintain the white of the paper to represent the beautiful building, and also kept some of the flowing blues of the sky.
