This is an original oil painting on a 12"x6"x.75" cradled panel.
Camellias are one of my absolute favorites. They all seem to hide away, and are so short lived but gorgeous. Their buttery petals are irresistable and this bunch at the Markham Arboretum had tiny bits of dappled light hitting them.
