Seagulls Landing in Benicia - Original Gouache Painting

This is an original gouache painting on a 12"x16" Coldpress watercolor paper.

It's rare when you know exactly what you want to paint within seconds of exiting the car. This was right outside the parking lot, and I instantly loved this view that had so much depth and things to look at. I'm always drawn to birds, so of course they got their portraits painted too.
