This is an original 11”x14” gouache painting on Arches coldpress paper.
Sunflowers are soo hard and never seem to get easier. But I love painting them, and will keep doing it for as long as I can. They have so much life and character! There was a graphic element on the wall from the way the light was shining through the blinds.
